In Q2 2025, four HB200 kW hybrid units left the yard, bringing the year-to-date total to eight deployments across Central Alberta. Each unit went from the shop floor to installation and operation in just a few hours.
The process is streamlined. Cranes in the shop handle the load-out, and a single truck transports the unit. Once on site, hydraulic legs make setup quick and straightforward.
These hybrid units combine generation and computing in one container. That design keeps the footprint compact and the deployment smooth, especially in remote or space-limited locations.
All four units are now running on gas, putting stranded energy to work and generating consistent hash power.
If you manage a site and want to launch or expand a mining operation, we're always building and happy to talk.
With our commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure and supporting long-term mining success, CryptoTherm has begun developing a new site in Central Alberta.
This location was selected for two key advantages: access to a reliable natural gas supply and a cooler climate that improves cooling efficiency. Together, these factors support stronger operational performance and long-term uptime. All at a competitive price point.
The site is now available for booking and accepting upcoming deployments. Power systems are fully managed by CryptoTherm, with no need for clients to source or maintain generators. Available capacity: Up to 25MW. Minimum commitment: 1MW.
Current rates: $0.055/kWh with container purchase | $0.065/kWh for hosting in CryptoTherm containers.
Basic miner management and maintenance are included for hosted deployments. Deposits are required to reserve capacity.
This is a strong opportunity for miners and investors looking for stability, scalability, and access to clean energy.
CryptoTherm is known for high-performance mining vaults. Now, we’re powering them too. This new site represents another step in our mission to drive sustainable Bitcoin mining across North America.
Building Global Momentum
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at this year’s Global Energy Show in Calgary. We had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of industry professionals and showcase what CryptoTherm is all about, turning waste into power with site-ready systems.
There was strong interest in flare gas mitigation, mobile infrastructure, and Bitcoin mining as a tool to create value from wasted energy. The conversations we had confirmed what we’ve seen on the ground: the appetite for practical innovation is growing fast.
We also want to thank the Alberta government and the broader energy industry for their support. Among the many meaningful connections made at the show, one highlight was engaging with industry leaders from Nigeria, whom we welcomed to our shop just days later. Flaring remains a critical issue in many regions, and it’s clear that interest in proven, mobile solutions is global. These exchanges matter, and we’re proud to be part of them.
Shop Tours, Real Conversations, and Local Support
On July 3rd, we opened the doors to our facility for a Stampede Breakfast, and over 100 guests joined us, including customers, shop neighbours, field leaders, and community partners.
Guests toured our manufacturing space, saw units running in real-time, and spoke directly with our team about on & off-grid infrastructure and flare gas monetization. Big thanks to the Alberta Robotics Association for volunteering their time to help serve food and host a booth. They use our facility to teach youth about robotics on weekends, and it was great to see them in action.
We’re grateful for the support, the turnout, and the shared vision of building innovative, efficient systems that work where they’re needed most.
As we continue scaling deployments, having full control over production has become more important than ever. That’s why our shop integrates industrial-grade fiber laser cutting systems, giving us more flexibility and speed when fabricating custom parts and enclosures. We use these systems daily to produce internal components, mount panels, and structural pieces for our mining vaults. This step allows us to iterate faster and keep production timelines tight.
Whether it’s one-off prototypes or repeatable parts for full-scale builds, this added capability is already improving both speed and consistency across our manufacturing process. And it’s not just for internal use. Our 120.000 Sq Ft facility is open to external clients. If you have a project that needs high-precision laser cutting, prototyping, or metalwork, our team can help you bring it to life.
On-Site Power, Purpose-Built for Mining
This edition’s product spotlight is the CT 220 Generator, a key component behind many of our most reliable deployments. It’s currently powering numerous HB200 vaults across the province and helping operators unlock stronger returns by taking control of their energy source.
Designed to convert wellhead gas directly into usable on-site power, the CT 220 enables miners to deploy at the source, cutting down energy costs, improving cooling efficiency, and enabling continuous 24/7 operation.
The CT 220 is available on its own or as part of the integrated HB200 kW Vault, which combines power generation and mining infrastructure in a single unit with 72 Bitmain or 98 Whatsminer miners capacity.
